Doc Talk Ep 4: How to Build Resilience in the Era of a Pandemic

New research from NYU Langone shows that after advanced age, obesity is the number one risk factor for hospitalization for COVID19. The fact is, SARS-COV-2 has highlighted the disastrous consequences of living in an inflamed body as we look at who is getting sick— the overweight/obese and those with hypertension, pre-diabetes, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. All these conditions are lifestyle-related and can be prevented.

 

That said, how do we start lifestyle changes to begin losing weight or getting less inflamed?
